Ever since the attending teams for The International 2018 were finalized, there was surety of two things to happen; imminent roster shuffles and upcoming preparations for the pinnacle event of Dota 2; The International Dota 2 Championships. Whilst numerous news regarding roster shuffles, player departures and rigorous training regiment have been making the rounds, we've received some positive news about a Chinese team receiving their visas for TI8 to be held at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada between August 20-25, 2018. The Chinese juggernauts, Vici Gaming, is believed to have procured their visas according to a credible source that wishes to remain anonymous. Similarly, their sister team, VGJ. Thunder, is also believed to have their visas almost ready to go for TI8. If this is indeed true, then Vici Gaming and VGJ. Thunder will be the first Chinese teams to have their visas ready. For a little backdrop, Vici Gaming were one of the directly invited teams to The International 2018 as they secured a sixth place on the DPC ranking chart whilst VGJ. Thunder were the last team to receive a direct invite as Optic Gaming narrowly missed out on securing a top four finish at China Dota 2 Super Major. Stay tuned to Esportsheaven for latest updates!
