DreamLeague season 19 group stage 2: All teams are set

Mush 2023-04-13 05:58:40
The last teams for the Dreamleague Season 19 Group Stage 2 have been set. After a grueling day of tiebreakers between six teams, only three remained to complete the eight teams that made this next stage of the tournament. The day kicked off with a game between Team Aster and Execration, two teams on the brink of elimination coming out of Group A. The Philippino team got the better of their Chinese opposition, but it wasn't enough to keep them in the tournament. TSM had to face off against both opponents back-to-back, cementing their place as the last team to qualify out of Group A. The North-American org managed the impressive feat of qualifying for the second Group Stage without winning a single BO2, off the back of 6 ties and the flawless tiebreakers. As Group A concluded, Group B's fights began. Two slots were on the line here with three teams fighting for them. Team Spirit kicked things off in their game against OG and lost a gruesome 67 min game. Their fate was still in their hands though, as they moved on to immediately face Beastcoast right after, just to suffer an even more heartbreaking loss to the South American team. The Eastern European roster was looking dominant in the later stages of the game, but a couple crucial mistakes opened the door to Beascoast, who took the win after another 50+ min match. With this day concluded, we have the final eight teams confirmed for Dreamleague Season 19 Group Stage 2: Dreamleague Season 19 This second stage begins tomorrow already, with Team Liquid facing the Gaiming Gladiators. Should be a banger to watch. You can check the full schedule here and catch the action on ESL's Dota 2 Twitch and Youtube Channels.
