Team Liquid qualifies for The International 2023 after securing the minimum required Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) points for the crown jewel Dota 2 event.
They are the first team to qualify for TI12 on the back of a solid performance throughout the entirety of the DPC regional leagues, majors and other third-party events.
Team Liquid sealed their slot for The International 2023 by accruing 1500 DPC points -- well beyond the minimum 1325 points threshold required to qualify for the Dota Championships.

Despite not winning a major, TL has performed exceedingly
well throughout the DPC WEU 2023.
As a result, their hard work has earned Team Liquid a spot at The International 2023 (TI12), the biggest event in the history of esports, boasting the highest prize pool.
Team Liquid's Journey to The International 2023
TL finished first in the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 1 and Tour 2. They placed second at the Lima Major, DreamLeague Season 19 and the ESL One Berlin Major 2023.
They were defeated at the Lima Major in a 0:3 whitewash.
DreamLeague Season 19 went better than expected. The grand finals went to a full best-of-five games but TL ultimately fell at the last hurdle. They lost with a score of 2:3.
Similarly, TL lost at the recently concluded ESL One Berlin Major 2023 with a 1:3 score.

To make things interesting, Team Liquid suffered defeat at the hands of one team, at all LAN events; Gaimin Gladiators.
Unable to conquer their demons, the former TI7 champions were slain to the prowess of the gladiators.
However, despite the painful ordeal, Team Liquid has secured a spot at TI12 -- all thanks to their consistency.
Even back-to-back major champions Gaimin Gladiators are yet to secure a spot at TI12 for themselves, owing to lesser consistent performance throughout the season, as compared to Team Liquid.
