FNATIC is stacked with highly skilled players and is a mix of both; fresh blood and veterans -- a combination that has done wonders in this space. Judging by the current performance, we have seen a different FNATIC altogether; a team that has managed to overcome their opponents in a clinical fashion. The old team was a reminder of an uncoordinated cohesive unit that lacked order and clarity -- among other things. Most importantly, I couldn't see the hunger previously, however, this time I see plenty of it.
Now you may argue that this might be a stroke of luck considering a new patch has rolled in, and other teams might be struggling to adapt as opposed to FNATIC. On a personal level, I'd like to disagree with this notion and mention that nothing in this game comes easy. FNATIC's recent success is a clear indication that the team has identified its core issues and SunBhie has played a major role in the process. In-game decision making has also improved with time and is a sign in the positive direction.
Now I maybe jumping the gun and possibly making a fool out of myself IF he isn't on the team but as a SEA enthusiast, it brings me profound joy to see that a coach of SunBhie's caliber might be employed by the men in Orange and Black. A couple of reliable sources have confirmed that SunBhie is most likely to join FNATIC's rank as their coach. We reached out to FNATIC for a comment on this matter although we were unable to elicit a response.
The real question still stands as to how FNATIC will perform on the grand stage against other teams now that Secret, Nigma, LGD and others have started their grind. Can SunBhie guide FNATIC to the upper echelons of the Dota Pro Circuit? Can SEA see yet another Major victor emerge? Only time will tell.
