vtFaded, one of Team Orca’s players, got embroiled in a match fixing controversy that led his team, along with Team Apex players, being permanently banned from all Valve events.
Initially, Team Orca were disqualified from the DPC SEA Qualifiers for competing on behalf of Team Apex players, by sharing the latter’s gaming accounts.
An unacceptable breach of competitive integrity from both teams led to their inevitable demise from all Valve and BTS related events.
However, in a separate tweet, vtFaded refuted the match fixing allegations bestowed upon him.
Expressing his intention to gather additional information, vtFaded has denied any involvement in match fixing or sharing accounts.
He also expressed his intention to appeal to Valve to absolve him of any of the aforementioned wrongdoings.
vtFaded, however, also acknowledged the fact that few Team Orca players were involved in sharing accounts on behalf of Team Apex in DPC SEA.
