The
four qualified Chinese teams for the ESL One Berlin Major 2023 have been decided.
Xtreme Gaming, PSG.LGD, Invictus Gaming and Team Aster qualify for the Berlin Major decimating the other teams in DPC China 2023 Tour 2: Division I.
Xtreme Gaming was the first team to qualify for the Berlin Major as they swamped every opponent in DPC China 2023. Their only loss came against PSG.LGD.
PSG.LGD is the second team to qualify.
Similar to Xtreme Gaming, PSG.LGD dominated the Chinese circuit, with their only loss coming against Invictus Gaming. They are the only Chinese team which has been performing consistently for the past few years.

Invictus Gaming is the third team to qualify for the Berlin Major.
It will also be IG's first Dota 2 Major in over two years after going downhill for the past few years owing to constant roster changes and instability. Their performance in the DPC China 2023 has been a refreshing sight to get hold of.
Team Aster is the fourth team to qualify for the ESL One Berlin Major 2023.
Team Aster's constant presence in the overseas circuit, along with PSG.LGD makes them a formidable force. They placed fourth in The International 2022 -- their highest-ever finish at the crown jewel Dota 2 event.
ESL One Berlin Major Chinese teams: No Surprises
It is not surprising to look at the teams qualifying for the Berlin Dota 2 Major from China.
The established powerhouses qualify over the less fortunate teams, signalling the huge discrepancy in the skills and talent between the upper and lower echelons of the pyramid.
It is also a sign of worry since China has been struggling to produce fresh talented players.
How far can the region go with no influx of fresh blood?
