Gaimin Gladiators win Bali Major 2023 in dominant fashion. The Western European team cement their utter dominance in this year's Dota 2 circuit with the trifecta of Major wins. The roster has been unstoppable this year, and Bali Major was not an exception.

The Team Liquid rematch

Team Liquid had been looking uncharacteristically weak during this tournament, but that didn't stop them from reaching the Grand Finals regardless. They quickly dispatched off Tundra Esports in the lower bracket Finals in a convincing 2-0. Gaimin Gladiators were also looking mortal this time, but not mortal enough. Team Liquid manage to take a win away, but the Gladiators just came back stronger and snuffed them out with two sub-30 min victories.

Gaimin Gladiators win Bali Major- A full sweep

2023 has undoubtedly been the year of the Gaimin Gladiators. The Western-European powerhouse made two crucial changes to their roster back in December 2022: Aske "Cy-" Larsen joined as coach and Quinn "Quinn" Callahan replaced Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan. Since this roster move was made, they have been unrelenting. At the Lima Major 2023 in February they go 9-0 in the Playoffs. 3-0 victory over Team Liquid.

In April, ESL Berlin Major comes around. They go 13-3 in Groups and 9-1 in Playoffs. This Major was the first one played in 7.33, an entirely new patch that changed a lot about Dota 2. Now, Bali Major 2023. The Gaimin Gladiators looked fragile. For the first time this year they didn't top their Group at a Major. Could they be losing steam? Not a chance. Playoffs come around and they start slower than we're used to, but the conclusion seems inevitable regardless. 9-3 record in the last stage of the Bali Major. Another 3-1 victory over TL.

The International 2023 looms

After a sweep of the Dota Pro Circuit, only one crown is left for the Gaimin Gladiators to conquer, and it's the biggest of them all. A few months stand between now and TI12, but no other prize will be on GG's minds. Can they do the unthinkable and take the entire year of Dota 2 into their trophy cabinet?
