Tournament Format
Players were divided into 8 groups of 6 for a round-robin stage. The top 2 from each group advanced to the double-elimination playoffs. Group winners received a bye into the winners bracket semifinals, setting up intense bracket runs.Path to Glory: Kakeru's Dominant Run
IBSG|Kakeru delivered one of the most impressive performances in Capcom Cup history. Using his signature JP, he went undefeated through much of the bracket, showcasing masterful zoning, precise neutral control, and devastating offense. He defeated strong contenders including NoahTheProdigy and Leshar in the winners bracket before facing Blaz in the Grand Final. Blaz, a young sensation from Chile, had an incredible run with his Ken and other characters, captivating the crowd with aggressive, high-level play.
