Despite not ranking first in DPC WEU 2023 regional leagues, GG has managed to qualify for the crown jewel Dota 2 event. They finished second in Tour 1 and third in Tour 2. Yet again, they aren't guaranteed a first-place finish in DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division I since the position has already been cemented by Tundra Esports. However, Gaimin Gladiators is well poised to qualify for the Bali Major 2023 -- the last major of the current DPC year -- as they share a joint second place with two other teams. The highlight is definitely their consecutive Major victories, defeating Team Liquid in the grand finals at both events. To top it off, they also won DreamLeague Season 19 and once again bested Team Liquid in a full five-game series, thus qualifying for the Riyadh Masters, boasting a humungous prize pool of $15 million. Despite winning both the majors, Gaimin Gladiators (GG) wasn't guaranteed a slot for TI12 because of changes in the point distribution system in the DPC 2023 circuit. Nonetheless, they left no stone unturned and capitalised on the opportunity to secure themselves a spot at The International 2023 on the back of consistent performance in Tour 3.
