About our Sponsor

GamerBet is a company that allows eSports fans to bet play money on matches. Currently their site only supports League of Legends, but they plan on adding more games as well as real money betting options in the near future. GamerBet CEO had this to say on why they chose to make this weekly tournament series a reality.

“We're sponsoring this event because we're all gamers and eSports fans ourselves, and this is as much a passion as it is a job for us. I think its really important that companies that are making money off eSports give back to the scene. After all without the scene we are nothing!”

You can visit GamerBet's Alpha website or follow them on Twitter @Gamer_Bet

Editor's Note

We know that given StarCraft's checkered past, partnering with a betting site may raise some eyebrows. I want to ensure our readers and viewers that we take the integrity of competition incredibly seriously. We will be using a two minute delay, and although GamerBet is our title sponsor, we are internally handling the tournaments administration. There will be no opportunity for any illicit activity to take place. We also have also done our due diligence and all we can say is that we're incredibly excited to be working with GamerBet.
