The Bali Major 2023 Playoffs are coming to an end. The last major of the year has been filled with upsets and unforeseen circumstances, and they four is not an exception.  

Bali Major Playoffs Day 4 Results

  Team Liquid kicked the Bali Major 2023 Playoffs Day 4 off with a convincing win over 9pandas. They slipped in the first game, but 2 and 3 were just business as usual with two wins in less than 30 mins each. Quest Esports should've been feeling the pressure as we started the second series of the day. They were facing PSG.LGD, the only team who 2-0d them in the Group Stage. Furthermore, a loss here would mean the end of the glorious zero-to-hero TI qualification run. They seemed to be fully trusting in their own plot armor, though. The first game was an insane 19 min blowout and, although the second one was much closer, PSG did not have a chance.

The 2-0 sweeps continued in the Upper-Bracket finals of the Bali Major as Gaimin Gladiators seem to have hit their fully-powered Major version. Tundra Esports were quickly dispatched of and thrown to the Lower-Bracket Finals.

  There they awaited their opponent who was to be decided in the match between Quest Esports and Team Liquid. The two teams fought to the death in a true David vs Goliath affair. Team Liquid won the first game, but Quest came back stronger for Game 2 with a convincing win of their own. As game 3 came around, Quest Esports seemed to be ready to take the entire Bali Major Playoffs into their hands. Alas, this is where the experience proved stronger than any plot-armor imaginable. Quest Esports had multiple chances to snowball the game out of Liquid's control, but the veteran roster kept blocking the punches and fighting back harder. A few crucial mistakes cost Quest the game and, consequently, a chance at qualifying to The International 2023 through the DPC point rankings.  

TI qualifications and Bali Major finals

  With Quest Esports out, BetBoom Team are back in as the last team to qualify to TI12 through the DPC rankings. It was an incredible run to witness throughout the entirety of the Bali Major, but unfortunately they fell short. Team Liquid will head into the last day of the Bali Major Playoffs with two possible platters filled with sweet revenge. They'll be facing Tundra Esports who pushed them to the lower-bracket just yesterday and, if they managed to win, they'll get their third and final chance at beating Gaimin Gladiators in a 2023 Major Final. Who's heading out of Indonesia victorious?
