BetBoom qualifies for The International 2023 (TI12).
The Russian organization is the ninth team to qualify for TI12 after 9Pandas, Team Spirit and Talon Esports
secured their spots not long ago.
By securing a guaranteed top six finish at the ongoing Bali Major 2023, BetBoom has ensured their qualification to the crown jewel Dota 2 event.
The CIS team outsmarted the reigning TI11 champions Tundra Esports in the upper bracket quarter finals of the Bali Major.
The 2-0 victory over Tundra secured BetBoom an additional 300 DPC points and took their total DPC tally to 1160 -- enough to ensure their qualification to TI12.
However, despite fielding a substitute, Tundra made things really hard for the CIS team.
While the first game was a crisp victory for the Russians, game two was sordid affair. The second game lasted for over 100 minutes that brought both teams to the brink of exhaustion.
It went to the most minute details and luck which swayed the game in BB's favour. To progress further into the tournament, BB will need to overcome the formidable Team Liquid in the upper bracket semi finals.

What happens next to BetBoom and their journey at TI12?
Firstly,
BB will look forward to end the Bali Major on a high note and gain as much confidence as possible before the next leg of their journey to TI12 begins.
The major hurdle for the Russians will be procuring visas to Seattle for The International 2023.
The process of securing an American visa is already troublesome enough, however, ever since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, things have gotten even more difficult for Russian citizen's to secure a visa to America.
The long and ardent process of procuring an American will be the biggest task for the org and its player, but needless to say, no one from the team would want to miss attending the million dollars tournament.
Let's hope that BetBoom becomes a TI12 qualified team in reality.
