OMG’s Military training Diary: 9/3/2015

HyperST 2015-09-03 03:33:57

Today is the second day. Last night, Loveling arrived happily as the last member to join. He probably doesn’t know what awaits him ahead. Even though he came in late, his stamina was very good. After seeing Loveling returning to the team, everyone is every happy (or maybe we are rejoicing at his misfortune)? Cool wanted to throw up once again this morning (yesterday he threw up everywhere). His condition now seems to be a lot better than on day one.

To add onto what happened last night, there was a group of boys that were mostly our fans. During last night’s anthem battle after the training (where two teams in the camp shout their songs at each other), facing the opposition’s remarks “OMG! Surrender at 20!”, our boys chose to surrender.

Another weird thing happened this morning during the training time between 6:30AM-8AM. Despite QQ’ing and throwing up, everybody got up right at 6:30AM without yelling from the staff members. Reminiscing of their past when they had to yell “GET UP”, the staff members’ hearts must have been broken.

After breakfast, we had to practice folding bed sheets. You guys can guess what environment we have to live in by looking at our bed sheets.

Afternoon consisted of marching and saluting group exercises. The hardest part is group squatting. If anyone made a mistake, everybody has to start over again. But their spirit grew stronger at every restart.

To add in a small detail, San finally received some compliments from the instructor after an entire day of hard work. “Your height and body shape are very good. You can join the military parade.” San lit up like a Christmas tree.

At the end, everybody watched the military parade ceremony (translator’s note: for China’s 70th V-Day Anniversary). With hearts full of gratitude, thank you China for such a great era.

After hearing the (patriotic song), the assistant instructor started hollering. Everybody led their Korean friends and started singing the song together. The Koreans were singing just like how they talked in game; it felt like they transcended the language barrier.

To end today’s journal, hope China becomes better and better!
