One of most victorious clubs of Turkey, Besiktas is the first institution of conventional sports to invest on electronic sports. BJK hires the former AcesHigh Esport Club to compete at Turkish League of Legends scene.

Founded in 1903 in Istanbul and one of most victorious clubs of Turkey in multiple modalities,Be?ikta? Jimnastik Kulübü entered eSports as the first conventional club of sports to invest in the League of Legends scenario. BJK, announced last Thursday,has hired AcesHight Esports Club, the Turkish team who represented their scene in the last Global Challenge Cologne, the third event of the 11th Intel Extreme Masters season. 

In an official statement, the Communication Manager of Besiktas, Metin Albayrak, said: "As always, we are the first to do something revolutionary in the history of Turkish sports. The world is changing, and for our new generation, computers and the internet mean a lot. Thanks to our friends, we now have a new unit that will not compete on the field, but online."

Recently, the former AcesHigh squad played the fourth edition of the International Invitational, a tournament organized by Riot Games Turkey and which was battled amongst big Turkish teams and important challenger European teams. It consisted of Different Dimension, NumberOne Esports, SK Prime, in the semifinals, and HWA Gaming, in the finals, the Turkish team won their first golden medal.
