The Twitter account from Team Apex has just announced that they will be partnerning with Nintendo of America for Apex 2015.

In the past, Nintendo and tournament organizers didn't exactly have the same views on the competitive aspects of Smash.  APEX 2015 will be featuring all four smash titles (Smash 64, Smash Melee, Smash Brawl, and Smash 4).  While Nintendo historically has not supported the competitive aspect of Smash, that all shifted around when they hosted the Smash 4 Invitational and filled one of the largest stadiums Smash has seen in attendance.  

Nintendo also sponsored EVO 2014, despite blocking attempts to stream and hold the event the prior year.
