It has been somewhat of an open secret that Team Liquid has been moving to acquire a League of Legends team for some time now. Despite previous rumors that Curse would continue to act as a separate entity with Liquid as its title sponsor, the recent announcement has clarified that the two organizations are fully merging to become one single entity under the Team Liquid brand.

Alongside their new League of Legends team Team Liquid has announced the opening of a new League of Legends site called Liquid Legends. This new site more resembles their Liquid Pro page than it does the original Team Liqud or other community oriented sites such as Liquid Dota and Liquid Hearth.

Finally, the two brands will be merged, and everything previously affiliated with Curse will share that with Team Liquid, including support staff.
