I. Getting Started
Hey guys, yes it's me here with another geeky World of Warcraft blog type post. The first post I made wasn't really a blog type post and I'm not going to lie, this one won't be either. The aim of this "guide" will be to help and inform people who don't play WoW what it's all about and what you need to get started. I'll explain the basics such as what expansions and games you need and briefly explain what each of these expansions will allow you to do. I'll also go through the basic system requirements you'll need which I'm sure you'll have no problems in meeting. So lets dive right in I guess.

II. Acquiring the game
To date (06/10/2012) Blizzard Entertainment have released four expansions and the main game itself of course. Below is a list of the games and their costs.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria - £29.99 - Digital Download[/c]

Total Cost - Including latest expansions: £45.25
Purchasing all of the games above would mean you are up to date with the current version of World of Warcraft. However, if I was you I would hold off on buying all of these games. I would recommend buying the Battle Chest first. The reason being you get a month free with this which allows you to level a character up to 70. This gives you more than ample time to see if you like the game. If you do then you can continue to purchase the next expansion. If you don't then you haven't wasted any further money. (Remember to purchase the expansions in chronological order)

III. Minimum System Requirements
Operating System: Windows® XP/Vista/7 with latest service pack
Processor(CPU): Intel® Pentium® D or AMD Athlon™ 64 X2
Graphics card: NVIDIA® GeForce® 6800 or
ATI™ Radeon™ X1600 Pro (256 MB)
Memory: 2 GB RAM (1 GB Windows XP)
Storage 25 GB available hard drive space

IV. Creating your first character
Okay so this little section assumes you have the game installed and are ready to create your first character. There are a few things you should know before making your character. TBC
