The Bali Major Group Stage is starting in just a few hours, so let's get you up to date on everything you need to know.  

Group Stage Teams

  The teams are split into two Groups in this stage of the Bali Major: A and B. Both groups have a good mix of rosters. The two tournament favorites in Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators are in different groups, which should allow for an exciting match-up in later stages.     Team Liquid and Shopify Rebellion should comfortably top this group, but teams like Tundra Esports and Team Spirit might be dangerous opponents to those two.

Tundra should be primarily determined to do well in this Group Stage since they're only 140 DPC points away from qualifying for TI 12.     Group B has a similar level of teams at the Bali Major. Gaimin Gladiators, the reigning Major Champions should be topping the group alongside Evil Geniuses, but they have multiple contestants with TI qualifications on the line. BetBoom Team and PSG.LGD are still fighting for TI qualification in the last Major of this Dota 2 year. This should be an exciting one to see.  

Match Schedule

  A detailed match schedule is available here, courtesy of Liquipedia. Bali Major matches begin in a few hours, between the 28th and the 29th of June, depending on where you are on the globe. Indonesian timezone means that most of the matches will be played at ungodly Western hours, but if you are able to watch them regardless, here are the times:

• 18 games will be played daily between the 29th of June and the 3rd of July.
• Group Stage match days start at 2AM UTC/10PM EST. They'll end at around 12PM UTC/8AM EST.
• Four series will be played at a time. Group A teams always play first, Group B matches will finish the day.

These will be the first played matches:     As a reminder, Shopify Rebellion vs Team Liquid, the Bali Major Group Stage's first match (and banger) will happen in just a few hours, 2AM UTC June 29th/10PM EST June 28th.
