Resurgence to dissolve Dota 2 team post Meracle’s exit

KarY 2019-01-01 06:30:19
resurgence Singaporean esports organization Resurgence is set to dissolve its Dota 2 team, according to multiple sources close to the team. On July 8, 2018, Resurgence assembled an all-Singaporean roster consisting of well known local talents aimed at TI9. The team consisted of players who have previously competed in the upper echelons of the pro circuit such as Meracle, Chibix, and Poloson who have all played for First Departure at some point. Resurgence also enlisted the services of Nicholas "xFreedom" Kelvin Ileto Lim to help and guide the team in their endeavor. As we all know, xFreedom competed under the legendary Singaporean team; Team Zenith as well as LGD. The team's result has been unsatisfactory with its most notable performance being a 7th place finish at PVP Esports Championship. They also suffered a setback after Galvin "Meracle" Kang Jian Wen joined compLexity Gaming on trial basis in November 2018. Resurgence is one of the select few esports organizations to house a proper Head Quarters in Singapore and possibly in Southeast Asia. We reached out to the org for a comment, however, we did not receive any response on this topic.
